Description
Just when our intrepid young (somewhat careless) pilot was starting to give up hope of anyone ever
coming along this old abandoned looking road to rescue him, he mumbled to himself, 'I sure wish
that someone would come along soon!'
And who should appear not with eight tiny reindeer but a beautiful gleaming Cadillac Eldorado
convertible and the old man himself with a jolly smile on his face and a very cheerful Ho Ho Ho!
'Can I help you young man?' he asks and already knows from the gleem in the young man's eyes that
he has just restored the young pilot's belief in Christmas and the miracle of the season!
As the old saying goes, sometimes you start out with one seemingly innocent looking image thinking
it will be the only one to take shape but then something magical happens and the story takes on a
life of its own and before you know it, it has gone off in a direction you never could have
imagined when you started! At least that is the case here with this mini story.
