The Saturated Sting are technologically advanced, particularly in the areas of chemical processes and aerial construction. Although they can fly without vehicles, they use giant swarm and seeding aircraft to travel faster than the nature of their own body plan would allow and to spread contrails which serve to change the atmosphere of planets they occupy. The illustration shows a number of aerial seeding vessels, patterned on a species the Saturated Sting once enslaved within the Fever Dream in their pre technological days. The giant hoppers used to serve them rather in the way that horses served humanity. They are exinct now but the Saturated Sting remember them in the designs of these aircraft. This image and the preceeding one have been created to accompany a short story about the invasion of the Consumed World called "Here Come the Wam Jets" and inspired by the Brian Eno track of the same name.
