What, with two new strains of Covid breaking out, it would be foolish to gamble at present as to which was the most contagious.
Subsequently, let's all keep our shirts on and where possible social distance and wear protective face masks.
One thing nobody factors into this whole equation is the intense pressure this non-stop intensive care has on medical staff either in UK or USA or wherever!
There are far fewer opportunities to perform major operations whilst Covid is around so why don't we take things into our own hands and make this disease a thing of the past and keep as sterile as humanly possible!
Stay safe everyone and if you see some tuppence worth without a mask, tell them how you feel!
Cathy and I have both had Covid and SURVIVED! It's not very nice! We may not be so lucky if it happens again!
NB The dress on the RIGHT is actually a plain GENESIS dress which has auto fitted to G8.1! Very impressed!

Great image and sentiment! Far too many selfish and foolish people are putting us all at risk by refusing to get vaccinated. Just because they may not get sick doesn't mean they won't pass it on to people with weaker immune systems who can't fight it off. I'm sorry you and Cathy had to endure it. Thanks, Steve, for expressing your thoughts concerning Covid. Too many shy away from publicly voicing their opinions concerning Covid--this is truly a PUBLIC HEALTH emergency. What I fear is that, since Omicron appears to be less virulent, it will send a message to folks not to take sincere precautions to curb its spread, and, then through negligence, it will set up the environment for a truly overarching situation for a new, more deadly variant to emerge. For those who don't want to get vaxxed or to wear masks, they are without doubt selfish, ignorant members of society. It is not about individual rights, not about ME-ism--it's about US. Overwhelmingly, it's the unvaxxed individuals who are succumbing to and dying from Covid, and, if you are unvaxxed and should get sick and even die, well, that IS on you. No tears from me. Natural Selection at work.

I'm distracted by the GORGEOUS textures on those dresses! But yes, we are both vaxxed and boosted and have a fine collection of masks (i need to sew more, the first set I made are wearing out). I am hoping that the combination of having had covid and your vaccinations will make you not notice if you get omicron! Virtual hugs and stay safe!

Oh, don't get me started on those brainless, selfish morons that refuse to use a little common sense and instead piss and moan about "mandates" or whine about "It's MY body, and I have the right to say what I do with it..." We wouldn't have to have "mandates" if these idiots would just pull their heads out of their rears, and use some common sense. And for those others, I have a couple suggestions as to what they can do with their bodies... But I won't go there... Soooo sick of all this rampant stupidity...

Your message is spot on and very socially conscious. This is going to be a long ride and we need to steel ,and do what we must. People need to understand, this thing doesn't care what your ideology or belief system is. Listen to science, and not ideologues and false prophets who are working their own agendas.
