So this is down at heel :) oddly there seem to be no shoe repairers out where we are, blast the throwaway society is all I can say...

Yep.... Like Steve and Paul said... Load up our stores with cheap crap from China (you know, that country that wants to destroy us) that lasts one season - if that. Then fill up our landfills with it, and wonder what the hell is happening to our environment. Makes no sense...

My latest pair of shoes lasted 12 years. Now they look like the one in your photo. It's difficult to consider I might find another shoes of that quality. Of course we have all possible crap in every store.
