Was für eine harte Girl-Group! Abgehärtet, wie sie sind, brauchen sie nicht mal eine Jacke! Wer weiß, wie viel Glühwein sie schon intus haben! XD Nein, ich scherze mal wieder. Ich finde das Bild großartig, schon allein, weil wie Damen in der Überzahl sind. Übrigens, der Herr sieht wohlhabend aus. Er soll allen mal einen schönen Pelzmantel spendieren!

Ute, I'm sorry I haven't been back here, to comment in your gallery...I like to sit in your gallery for an hour or more, and bask in your amazing and creative inner world...I don't like to comment on only "one image"...But my last flu knocked me out, "to my knees," as they say.....I just haven't found the energy to do long sessions yet. So I apologize. But it's Christmas Day, and I wanted to send my wishes and blessings and hugs for you and your loved ones. I chose this image because ti's about carolers (musicians), and it's your inner world singing to all of us. Carols arose in the Middle Ages, and they included so many styles, they were early "global" music. By the 1500s, they included popular music (like "Greensleeves"), religious song (like "In Dulce Jubilo"), lots of popular dance tunes, and even classical song. Very few song-forms captured as many styles as Christmas carols did: They combined somber music with playful music, hymns with dance music, religious with secular music, and so on. They're universal, fresh, innocent, and infinitely playful. And they transcend the specifics of the New Testament, and can reach people of any faith. So I chose this image for my christmas greeting to you.
Your singers, here, are typical of your way with costume: Beautiful long gowns, formal jacket with top hat, people smiling from inside the windows, snow falling, a sleigh to the side, cats, and those beautiful snow covered windows. (With "Fraulein Magda's Toy Paradise"...Magda, right? That's related to Magdalene...) And christmas lights...A beautiful image. And it's sung directly to us. You've posted a whole slew of beautiful christmas images this year---yes, I've seen every one, I haven't missed an image. I'm sorry I can't comment on them all. But I want to wish you and your loved ones a blessed christmas, solstice, new year, yule and 'season of lights'. And i hope 2022 will be a much better year. You've been a beacon of light here, and your gallery has been a carnival of inspiration, fun, joy, serious feeling, transcendence, etc. So many wonderful wishes to you, and I hope you're having a great holiday.
