Born at the tail of the baby boom, James was introduced to drawing and painting at an early age by his parents. Now, nearly 65 years later, he still occasionally sketches and paints but for the most part uses computer graphics programs for image creation. His favorite programs are Blender, GIMP, Poser, and Vue. He currently lives in a small town in New Jersey, sharing his space with two cats and a human female.

Really funny!!! Which do you like better? Rendering in Superfly or firefly?

Thank you very much for commenting. As far as Superfly vs Firefly, it really depends on how the image comes out, I never was a big fan of Firefly, though I managed a few good images from it. However, the latest version seems to work pretty well for me (without much fiddling) especially with the Superfly lighting sets (I really like the Rembrandt and Paramount sets), So now it is a matter of which rendering engine handles the textures better. But I'm using Superfly as the default rendering engine now, switching to Firefy when I need to.
Not that I've given up on Vue, I use it for more real-world settings.
