I'm sorry I've done so few comments, Steve, I see everything you post (and love it), I just haven't had the energy to comment yet. Your other Christmas image is touching and gentle and it was so nice of you to post more than one. With this gem, I can't help but feel your wonderful cartoon characters are doing a small version of the paintig above them. I mean, there are fewer of your characters than in the painting; and they don't imitate the painting exactly: But there's still a parellel. It's a wonderful pairing in any case.
I love their expressions, and all the positions you got; and that one of them is with her back to us, and that dog down there barking away, as always. (I don't remember all their names.) And I love that very tired santa. This is delightful, Steve. I'm glad your Christmas was super (as you said in your most recent upload), and I hope your New Year is just as sweet. Happy new year's week! (Ok that's not a thing, but go along with me...) I hope your mom is doing well, and I wish you a wonderful end of the year. A delightful Christmas image for us...
