As an outworlder on Kronos, he had to always maintain caution and guard. He had thought being this far away from the planet he had grown up on, he would of have been able allow his guard down. It seemed he was even more alert now than ever. Pretty much uncharted space was a perfect place for Pirates. And being at a focal junction between Imperial space, The Romulan territories and Federation space meant that the possibilities of any encounter were almost limitless. He glanced out through the observation window and into the star studded regions beyond. Three weeks, he thought with a little relief. He would then enter a region where his safety from other vessels was almost a guarantee. But there were draw backs, and he would have to face them when he reached that point.
