Description

At minus 9 degrees, the shore areas of lakes or rivers were for the most part covered with a thin layer of ice, some of which then began to melt again due to the sun (but sometimes children helped).

Thank you very much for viewing, commenting, favorite and rating. Much appreciated.

full size, this almost feels like ice shards cascading to the ground. I know it's the surface of a shore (so it's flat, I presume); but it feels a little like falling ice shards. Beautiful, icy hues, and very strong patches of light...A high contrast, "broken glass" image. Very compelling.
