god, I've seen some of these older images---I've seen them. I don't know, for the life of me, why I left no comments. Your visits here are always special, I don't know why I didn't leave a comment. In any case, your painting---which I assume was done with a photo as a background---is beautiful and haunting. Wonderful dark bluish gray hues. And deep shadows. Yet, in the midst of the winter fog, you have such clarity. And a lone person walking---well there are more than one, but that person on the right seems to define the image. And a lone sign in red...an image that captures the isolated solace of winter...beautifully done, with your usual subtle palette-knife technique, subtle in this image, but there all the same. I'll come back for others soon, Nikolay: I don't know why I saw these and didn't comment. Maybe I'd meant to but just didn't finish, I don't know. Sorry!
