Description
The legendary Norwegian Shieldmaiden. Many historical female figures are legends interwoven with some facts. Would we know about Lagertha if she wasn't Ragnar Lothbrok's wife? Archeologists only confirmed that Shieldmaidens were 'real warriors' as recent as this decade. They shape a new story still relevant and intriguing today. It's written on the body; we just have to look.
