Description
One of my hard drives is on the blink, and it just has to be my main workspace one. Good thing that I've still got enough space on my other volumes to back it all up, before the offending drive reaches perma-death.
Now playing:
Split Enz - "Choral Sea"

Been there, done that - too many times. Now, I have USB externals and extra internals, 2 USB docks, and a NAS.. Multiple BUs of everything. Been burned in the past - not fun at all, and not happening again..

Just had one of my drives begin to fail - and it was the "Time Machine" backup drive - so I cloned the main drive to an external hd and then bought a new (larger) hd for a new Time Machine. You can never tell how long they'll last; I've got a SCSI 4Gb hd on my oldest Mac (1997) and it still works.

I've got DriveDX to keep an eye on those hds that have SMART technology.
