You have captured a tense, suspenseful feeling. Yes, a touch of Hitchcock but my first thought was of Poe. I also like the oddity of having a lamp on even though it is bright and sunny outside. Adds a touch of the dream (or nightmare) quality. Very well done.

Very good work but looks like a pretty old, memorial.. Also the orange color is interesting quality.
