Looks great mif. There's a product in DAZ that creates water planes to put around 'partially immersed' characters that works pretty well in scenes like this. Sadly, like so many things, it likely isn't available in Poser...

My current project will need such thing you've mentioned but I managed few days ago to implement my own version. I shall upload few renders so you can see it allows true water on level ground, while people can still walk on the ground, trees will not fly and it allows indoors/outdoors polls have water, not being filled with gravel, while people could walk and not levitate.
