Description
Jacomina (dochtersions) reminded me---in her gallery---that January 8th was Mike's birthday (Faemike55). I know Mike has been gone a while---moving, recovering from health problems, etc. But when he comes back, I wanted to honor him, because he's one of our prized members, and loved by many; and I wanted to add to Jacomina's dedi to say he's remembered.
Rod---RodS---has kept us apprised of Mike's progress (thanks, Rod!): Mike is cherished, and missed; and when he comes back, it'll be a big uplift to the site. Happy Birthday, Mike, and I wish you all the health and strength in the world!
(This is a "totem," btw: A totem is a sacred object that's used as an emblem for a whole people. May it be a healer for Mike. Also...since Mike does wonderful fractals, this was the closest I could get to a 'fractal': It's a painting, mind you---all Photoshop---but I tried to make it look "fractal-y".)
Zooming on RR is iffy---and I don't know why!---but you're free to pull it onto your desktop and view it there.
I'm back more now, though still day by day...but I hope you're all doing well this balmy January. Stay well and safe, everyone. And if those boosters make you crazy, they say that's because they're doing their job. (I hope so! I was crawling the walls after mine!) Inspiration to everyone! m

This is an excellent dedication to Mike! I am glad you are doing well and in good spirits my friend. Keep up the great art work you are doing...its a viewing pleasure to the many that view it! :-)

Symbolic I think this fractal-looking job is so well chosen for Mike, Mark. The metaphor of a totem pole very special and also so unique.
They are so beautiful !!!! The upper row reminds me of organ pipes, they are full of musicality and strength, a force as only in real organ pipes in cathedrals over the hearer are poured over the hearer. I also see the foot pedals, feel the powerful dynamics, and how the organ all this high tunes throws into space. You see it in the shape and colors around it. It is so tangible painted by your musical hand, Mark.
If I look at the bottom series, it looks like this is what remains of the resonance of the last tones, also as if the organist holds this last tone long, so that the audience is completely silent for a long time, and if enchanted from after can enjoy.
And then, suddenly, it is quiet, quieter than quiet. What an execution, and all of these ultimate, characterful comprehensive expression that these totem piles radiate. I'm impressed by this art, my friend.

This is a beautiful, fitting and much appreciated dedication for our dear friend Mike! Sooo glad you created this, Mark!
I'll be giving him a call soon and let him know. We talk on the phone every couple weeks or so. Things have been a bit challenging for him the last year or so with health issues and he no longer works at Treasure House. He's moved in with his sister, I think he said, and is doing pretty well. He does not have internet at this time, but hopefully will be able to connect at some point. He does very much miss everyone at Renderosity, and wishes well for all his friends here. I soooo wish I could win the Powerball or something, so I could get him connected again (among other things.. LOL).
These totems are so perfect for him - they do remind me of Mike's wonderful and happy artwork. I'd so love to see it lighting up the galleries here once again.
Hmmm... Neither Jo nor I had any aftereffects at all to our boosters. I guess that means we're already crazy! 😆

These look like totems and they look like fractals so you succeeded on both fronts. I like the way the colors and shapes repeat. This is a set of happy images and that should be uplifting to everyone who sees this. I see reflection, warmth, happiness, and comfort in this dedication. Nice work!

hope the energy helps heal our friend Mike. i wish him well everyday in prayer along with many here. the top three sure has allot of energy look to the Mark. mostly right and left. the center one two lower outside ones has a color burn look, a option in photoshop. a super creation well thought out and is very thoughtful Mark, for our dear friend Faemike. i so happened to have a image for Mike to Post.
