Description
I already told you elsewhere that Rose was my first own DAZ character I worked with. Before that, I only tweaked some expressions and pose details of our Genesis 3 cast from First Valentine’s Day Date, when Grabiobot was in convalescence after his heart attack.
I think this was the time I got finally hooked on digital arts. I did my best to learn as fast as possible to help my friend, who was barely able to stay focused and awake. And despite that, he still managed to teach me what he knew about DAZ whenever I needed help. Together we finally managed to publish First Valentine’s Day Date.
In this very same game, whose juicier parts are staged in the dorm room of Dante and Dario, the inclined viewer may discover a poster of Rose hanging over Dante’s bed. Grabiobot was so proud of me at that time that he took my very first render after it was finally done (believe me when I tell you it took a whole lot of time) and exchanged the old poster with my image of Warrior Rose.
Up to this time, the original render is still the lock screen of my mobile.
When I started to rework my old images, and especially A Photo Shooting with Rose, to get myself out of my self-doubts, I wondered if I should also revamp this image. It felt a bit like desecrating, but eventually, I overcame my feelings, and here you can see the result. (And yes, I deliberately decided against exchanging the HDRI background).
I hope you like it.
