I'm just Molly. Mrs. Mike was my ID for many years when I modeled for my deviant husband, Mike B. It was Mike that introduced me to Poser.
I have modeled in real life a bit. My introduction to 3d imaging was through making pictures of my adventures in Second Life and over the10 years I've been learning Poser and making Poser pictures. In real life, I am a near completely retired health care professional and a full time grandma. In my digital life I am a Second Life heroine, a Second Life villainess and here and at Deviant Art I'm a budding 3D artist.
My next big project is to learn Blender.

Excellent scene! Great camera work and composition!

Thank you, CD. I did a similar picture using much of the same content for Fall and I though I'd revisit the concept. I love the character.

Looks simply great dear Molly, have a nice new week!
MollyFootman
Thank you, Ute! It's brighter and more cheerful than a lot of what I do. XD

I've seen 2nd World's setting before but not in a winter setting (that I recall). As I love winter scenes and you always get me to thinkin' I'll have to try one. Always look forward to your next inspirational piece, Molly.
MollyFootman
Thanks, JD. The textures are "out of the box" for the most part. The content comes with Spring/Summer, Fall and Winter texture sets. Don't know if they are I-ray as I don't bother with that being a Poser girl. They work well with Superfly Cycles 2, though! =)

Dear Molly, your Dorothea is a very tough lady. She does her sport in a wonderful winter landscape, well done!
MollyFootman
Thank you, Anne! She IS very tough as I imagine her. I cannot thank Temepsta3D enough for the creation of the morphs and textures that have allowed me to bring her to life. She is, I think, my very favorite character of the many of in the Mollyverse. =)

Got to brave jogging at a speed like she is doing in the conditions. Crap! My azz would slip in the wrong spot. Great environment.
MollyFootman
Indeed. She's much more fit and far braver than moi! XD
Thanks for taking a moment to leave a comment to make me smile, Steve!

Such a lovely winter scene! I like how the trees almost look stylized, and the picture overall has a bit of a dreamy, fantasy look, which I really like (vs. realistic renders). Good for her for braving the cold to go for a run!
MollyFootman
Oh thank you! I think the dreamy look comes from a bit of postwork in Photoshop to add a subtle vignette and a bit of glow to all the white. I was going for a very positive feeling and also a feeling it's cold (her visible breath really didn't come through very well, though) and your comment is the reward for my work! I look forward to seeing some of your work again. =)

anniemation
That has a magical quality! Well done!
MollyFootman
Thank you, Annie. As I noted in a reply above the magical feel is likely due to some subtle post-work. Unlike some others who render pictures here I don't think post-work with Photoshop or some other software is cheating; after all, professional photographers do it all the time. And, if achieving some effect improves your art, I say "go for it"!

Great winter lighting and feel to this one!
MollyFootman
Thank you! I think a little post work helped with added glow and a very subtle vignette. I really wanted it to feel brisk to the viewer.

I seem to remember this bridge scene from another run; think it works really well with this snappy winter look, very nicely done, Molly
MollyFootman
You have a good memory, Paul! I used this scene and character for an Autumn themed running picture. Retexturing it and posing Dorotea in a warmer set of running togs was a lot of fun. On the whole, this might be a better picture. I suppose we can all stand by for Spring; I may have to do the scene yet again! XD

Nope, to cold to run. Fantastic scene
MollyFootman
Heh. I can't even run when it's warm, my dear! =)
Thanks for leaving a comment to make me smile and let me know that you enjoyed the picture!

Beautiful winter wonderland scene! Try to catch the snowflakes on your tongue as you run is fun!
MollyFootman
Heh. I don't know that I can even run at my age but maybe I can catch snowflakes. ;)
Thank you for the lovely comment that made me smile. =)

MajinBoo
It's a fantastic image and rather motivational as well. Exercise is important at any age.
MollyFootman
Thank you, my dear. I'm a bit North of 70 myself and though I can't run like Dorotea I sure put some mileage in walking. I absolutely believe the words I put in her mouth regarding what you don't maintain you lose forever after a certain age. I really appreciate you comments!
