the bottles rose to the surface by some unknown source. Curiously, some were empty of any song, of any message.

Very well done! I have just spent some time with trying to do a convincing underwater lighting arrangement and I know how challenging it it! This is lovely and the posing is very convincing! Bubbles drove me especially nutty and you have done a wonderful job of that here!

Thank you very much Molly. I like to confront myself from time to time with this difficulty of underwater scenes. The secret of the rendering often lies in the lighting set where the ibl and the simulation of the caustics help a lot, and in the simulation of the density of the water. As for the bubbles, they are sometimes in 3d (real reflection off), sometimes in postwork, or sometimes both.

Super underwater scene! A lady diver came along and picks up the bottle of the guitar lady. I wonder what comes next. Anne

This is impressive, has a real feeling of dynamism and the underwater light is just right. Masterful work with the bubbles and turbulence... and the mystery deepens (pardon the pun) ;)
