Relax, little brother. I happen to like your landlord friend! I find him very intriguing and strangely attractive. I just want to get to know him better. That's all. Well, that better be all there is to it! I like him too much to allow anyone to hurt his feelings, especially my older brother! Don't worry your pretty little head over it, junior! I only want to get to know him some more and hopefully become friends with him as well. I, like you, think he is a swell guy and definitely well worth knowing. He has travelled the world and has a lot of stories to tell. I would just like to hear some more of them. That's all. I hope you are telling me the truth. I know your reputation as a lady killer. Why your wife puts up with you is beyond me! So, why are you so suddenly interesting in an older man anyway? Well, I never had any interest in older gentlemen before until I met your landlord. Something about him just sparked an interest in me. I can't explain it. Like I said before, I'm very interested in his stories and life experiences. I think he has a lot he could teach us both! Hmmm. Maybe I'm just being jaded, but I suspect a hidden motive. Little brother should leak it that the landlord is in serious financial trouble and broke, then see what happens.

I love that the gentleman's young tenant is looking out for, and standing up for him. I would tend to agree, that the older brother's behavior seems suspect. But as long as he doesn't hurt his brother's landlord, he should let it play out. His landlord certainly appreciates the companionship and attention. Maybe big brother is not the womanizer he seems, and perhaps he's about to jump the fence. And one thing any intelligent person knows, no matter how much you know, and how much education you have, you should never stop learning! If big bro is interested in learning from their older friend, he should absorb his knowledge like a sponge!
