Planes of Fame Air Museum has maintained a fleet of flyable historic aircraft for over 60 years! The Museum has operated these types of aircraft longer than the Army Air Corps or Air Force did. Planes of Fame Air Museum truly is where aviation history lives. You too can experience history through Planes of Fame Air Museum.
Located at the intersection of Highways 180 & 64 at Valle-Williams Airport, south of south rim of Grand Canyon, the museum is open daily 9-5 except Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Nearly three dozen warbirds and classic aircraft are on display including the Lockheed C-121A Constellation which was General Douglas MacArthur's personal VIP transport.

it is not there anymore as a man in Texas bought it and arranged for the Chino, CA Location PLANES OF FAME AIR MUSEUM - to restore it. I have pictures in my gallery somewhere with Connie being in pieces
no telling just how many historic planes he has. he is a pilot and wants to take friends for rides

Nice shot of this Connie, Richard. I'm glad it's going to a place where it will be restored. We used to have one at the TWA Museum at the KC Airport.. Not sure if it's still there... (I almost typed an "N" instead of a "W".. in TWA...😄).
