Seeing the Jays is cool/ They are so funny to watch. The Squirrels will hide nuts and the Jays will watch them. As soon as they are gone the Jays will go get them and take off with them.

I wanted to comment on at least one shot of trees, and this was perfect. In addition to the Jays, you presented the tree branches as a huge tapestry of intertwining forms and lines. The backround seems almost like it was set up to be a backdrop to that tree. A really scintillating capture.

I have a person bone to pick with jays from nearly 40 years ago.
When my son was teething and we were camping at a state park, the jays would swoop down and steal his teething pretzels. Then they'd fly off, looking like a dog that had fetched a log instead of a stick.
That said, this is a beautiful image.
