Description

Hmm well here I go again with yet another tropical scene, but with the computer specifications that I have it is much easier and quicker to render these scenes. Hope u guys dont get tierd of all these coconut trees. Also let me know if i can make improvements in the scene.

I think it's looking pretty good! Maybe some vegetation on the islands, in addition to the coconut palms? But scene looks very calm, peaceful.

I too enjoy the tropical island renderings. One thing that I have been doing that improves things greatly with little effort is to take your finished picture into Photoshop and draw in some beach sand at the edges of the islands. A spray of sand colored pixels on a zoomed image that has been resampled to a greater number of pixels makes a nice effect. Also spraying on a little white on the edges of the surf makes it look more realistic. Easy to do but takes that island into a relm of greater reality. Blair
