Description
We had left Arches National Park and headed for Bryce National Park. when we got close to a mountain range, there was the sand storm. after leaving the sand storm it started snowing, heavily. glad it was not too bad, because I was driving a Corolla XRS(Camry engine). when we arrived at Bryce, it was snowing again. I decided to get out of the park and headed for Las Vegas to spend the night, not taking any chance on deep snow

I swear this winter weather is nuts. Will be in the 30s (Fahrenheit) next week in Chicago, and NO SNOW. Balmy by Midwestern winter standards methinks.

we made it up to the low 40's today with a warmer week ahead. my younger sister temp was 10 below the other night

Amazing the many trips you take. You travel through such exquisite country, your gallery is a record of many wonderful trips. This shot is deep, dark and foreboding, as the snow wipes out all vistas. Hard to drive in too! I love the truck in the middle left, while the rest of the shot it obliterated by that snow. Love the curve in the road too. The problem in driving in a snowstorm, for me, is staying awake. I don't know why, but tons of snow from a car makes me drowsy as all get out. Which is why I rarely drive in a snowstorm...
