Thank you, that's a real compliment coming from you. Your work is excellent. This is my very first serious crack at rendering with Arnold, so some thinngs are still a bit off. I'm looking forward to pushing it to its limits. Spent years investing time in Mental Ray, but alas, no mas...

I couldn't wrap my arms around Arnold if I wanted. LOL, But I really like this. As for mental Ray, it gave me a headache lol. I decided Daz and blender in the end. I have to follow you now laughing to see where you go with your art. Great work.

Thanks, much appreciated. Yea, Mental Ray was very heavy on parameters, so the learning curve was brutal, but once you got the hang of it, it gave you a lot of control over the final output. It was great for both realistic renders, and artistically exaggerated ones. From what I can see so far, Arnold does realism well, but I have yet to figure out how to pull the dramatic subtlety out of it...
