Inspired by Monster High, Cryptid University is something we are working on for our art, and possibly comics in future (many of which may not be safe for Renderosity). We of Pure Hearts believe that it is disrespectful to sexualize characters from other properties, unless permission has been given or the characters are already sexualized. However, sexual interest or attraction to characters who you hold emotional connections to is certainly a reality, and there is nothing wrong with this. To rectify the situation, we create "inspired characters". They're totally not knockoffs. Knockoffs are different, in a way that is so obvious that we don't have to waste time explaining, because we obviously know how.... Okay, perhaps "inspired characters" may be very similar to their counterparts, but if we are to be honest, they are meant to be. Legal reasons aside, we would not feel comfortable sexualizing characters who are not our own. Knock-o... we mean, inspired characters are a way to enjoy fantasizing without infringing upon the honor of said characters. Odds are that the similarities will fade somewhat in time, as the characters develop more into their own roles. What? You say they're fictitious? Well, we at Pure Hearts believe that it is important to treat your fantasies the same as your realities. It helps you practice good habits.
