MQ, something Ironbear said to me along time ago that helped me a hell of alot. Work out a style that you like and think you can acheive, and then keep on trying with that style cos all of a sudden, things will appear as if someone turned on a light for you. It worked for me and I thank the old bear each time I start an image. And remember the most important thing, the art should be fun :))

Its really good for a second attempt. You really carried the detail in the shirt & sleeves.A little bit of blending& bluring/softening would make the line between the modified & photo less obvious in that shirt/sleeve area. Her face is a bit tooo soft and some of the make-up is a touch too dark. Fading the make-up in a bit more would do the trick there. A few more details in her face would be nice. Its hard to tell where her nose & chin end. =) she would look awesome if she was faded into the background as a ghost effect. Hope you found these suggestions helpful.
