Meet my new office mate, haunches. He comes to visit each morning and looks at me through the window while I'm working.

I figured as much. Squirrels are nature's moochers. I learned that they cache surplus food, burying it to store it for the future. Believe it or not, when they suspect that another squirrel is watching, they will actually fake it, going through the motions and burying nothing.

I've heard of that, crows do the same, and when both crows and squirrels are together they will fake caching food as they often steal from one another!
