The balck/blue palette works wonders here, great image.
Deserves a better crow/raven model though, this one ( Noggins?) is almost comically inaccurate... In the past I have had to resort to using 2d images and compositing, as I have not yet found a convincing model.

What a fascinating portal---it's like a door in front of a dark wall---but there's mist and smoke coming from behind it, so it's like it opens up from another dimension, or even from hell.. I love her expression, and she emerges as if she'd come from a dream. Feathers drop out of her wings, and once again you've handled lighting in a dark image with ease. Sensitively and invitingly done. (And it looks like your bowl of fruit has fruit floating in the air! Not a bad trick...)
