Description

Navarre has seen many Andorians in his life to now be able to read their reactions; and with the way her twitching antenna were visibly trembling, he knew she was terrified and in trouble. Besides, he had a personal hatred for slave owners. "Not of much use." The closest to him went on. "But maybe you would enjoy her assets during your journeys." Navarra shifted his eyes slightly, able to see the leering man near the bay window. "And Andorian with not tech skills is pretty low in value." Navarre drew a soft breath. "But I suppose she could do domestic duties." That drew the females attention back to him and their conversation. "Just what is your asking price?" "She has cost us plenty just to feed and cloth." The other Slaver then entered the conversation. "Not my concern." Navarre turned cold towards them. He watched as their expressions changed suddenly. He could see fear clouding their doubts. "I would return with her to Vargas three. Our house is in need of a domestic." "Vargas." The second Slaver gasped slightly as he shot a fearful eye to his companion. "We would like to meet our expenses and be done with her." The first almost seemed to cower a bit. "I asked your price already." Navarre threw his head back defiantly. "You waste my time?" "No. No." Both Slavers chimed together. "A mere seven hundred bar latinum." "Seven bars." Navarre glanced over at the blue skinned girl. "Frail. You didn't feed her well." He then returned his gaze to the Slaver before him. "Six hundred bar." Navarre narrowed his eyes and stared hard at him. "A f...fair deal." The Slaver stuttered. Navarre reached inside his jacket and withdrew a packet, from which he removed three golden strips of metal and handed them to the Slaver. "Six." He eased down his manner and smiled pleasantly. "And a good day, Sirs." "Thank you. Thank you." The Slavers eagerly took the gold bar strips and hurried away. Navarre watched after them for a moment, then glanced back to the girl with a faint smile. "You are not of Vargas." She stated in a lowered voice. "No." Navarre chuckled. "But they didn't know that. Come on." He reached behind her an removed the binders that kept her bound. "Let's get something to eat." He tossed the binders into a potted plant as he guided her towards the walk to the upper level.

thank you. A continuous scene is nice, but constantly rearranging the characters takes considerable time.
