Description
I am loving the new volumetrics we have in Daz now. I couldn't wait to play around so this is a little test scene I threw together. I used ground fog but kept the density pretty light. but made the height very high so as to fill the whole scene. It's most evident in the motorcycle headlights. Originally I was just going to use only ground fog, and I had the density turned up. It looked great but I changed my mind and added volumetric clouds around the chase car. LOVE the effect it gives. Threw a fire element behind the car just to give a little separation but I didn't spend much time placing it properly.
I have no idea how much longer it took to render because, genius that I am, I used a Stonemason product and those are ALWAYS a bear for my little laptop. And, since we've established that I'm a genius, I forgot to turn off my denoiser which produced some strange artifacts and reduced the effect of the fog.
Still, I can't wait to explore more effects with volumetrics.
