I am touched by the dedication Ute, thank you. Its a wonderful and fascinating image, I particularly love the rich textures and warm earth tones, and how appropriate to have the god of change and transition in these uncertain times!

And now your more mythical, introspective side. I've never seen an image of Janus that looked like this! You have two faces, but so much more. One face is a mask---very much alive. The other face is an ancient goddes, with no irises in her eyes: Her eyes are timeless. On her arm? You have a bird---maybe an owl. It looks very mythic, as if that bird holds great secrets for humanity. And then that woman behind everyone, crouching in a very inward posture. She looks like she's immersed in highly private feelings. And the background flows like her hair---it flows in strands...This is very creative, Ute, and very inward and reflective. I don't know Joe Jarrah, but I'm told he's a very fine writer---he won a site award, right? for writing? A great image for him in any case. Very powerful work. Very thought-provoking.

Right, Joe is one of my best friends and I love his constructive comments, both negative and positive, he also makes excellent graphics which also get far too little attention here and that's a shame!!!
