I get a lot of criticism for my use of narrow DoF but I continue to insist it is a tool like any other that you should know how to use and deploy when appropriate. Your use here is very subtle. I say keep messing with it and use it when it highlights an aspect of your work that you want to be notable. Watch how it is used during conversations in cinema and you'll see what I mean. Thank you for sharing your work!

It's a fun tool. I think people get a little too hung up on the math when it comes to it. To me it's purpose is to just make it possible to highlight the foreground image you want to show. I'm not going for reality. I'm going for fun. LOL
