Even though she had led her people in battles against the foe and killed some 70,000 of them, Boudica was finally admitting to herself that she would inevitably lose this struggle. Thanks for the drop by. Beginning to feel more like my old self and will likely be dong more 3D work and actually visiting the gallery :) Hope all are well...

i don't remember the quote---"they ravage, they plunder, they usurp, and they call it Empire: They make of us a Wasteland, and they call it Peace..." I can't help but think your tribute to Boudica (from the ancient mists of rome and britain) is also about the Ukraine. I hope the Ukrainians persevere, I know you have roots there (in your mom)...much of the world is behind Ukraine, in ways they wouldn't have known to be during rome's endless plunders. Your image shows nobility and real beauty, and somehow it feels like her vision will last even if she doesn't. Beautiful image. I'm glad you're doing better barb, and hope you continue to.
