Description

During his inaugural address in 2019, Zelensky told lawmakers: “I do not want my picture in your offices: the President is not an icon, an idol or a portrait. Hang your kids' photos instead, and look at them each time you are making a decision.” Never forget, Zelensky didn’t need this. He did it out of a sense of duty and patriotism. Pray for Ukraine.

I can't agree more and also go along with what RodS has commented! Pray for the forces of good and the defeat of the powers of evil! Zelensky has become the icon for the battle between good, an evil!

beautiful upload Mark...great photo of Zelensky's family. I knew he was a comedian (and a jewish one at that---part of a long lineage); but I didn't know the circumstance of his choosing to run. Out of duty---when he was doing well enough in the entertainment world: What a sweet fact. He was a populist too, which means that there are good populists to balance out the bad. (We have a few here too.) And you gave a great quote too. I hope he wins out. It's said that Putin's nuclear warning was---in Russia---still a warning, not a total threat. A dangerous ploy...Hopefully Zelensky will win over Putin, and end this. And let's hope Putin doesn't do more damage to his own people (ie, he protesters). A touching and welcomingly positive upload. Thank you.
