I read both uploads, and wow, I had no idea glider planes were given such attention in WWII. Apparently they transported soldiers and 1 jeep, the plaques say. And they went through quite a bit of jostling (business and construction-wise). I know nothing about planes or plane construction, but it is really fascinating. And it reminds us that auto plants were used for war construction. Fascinating stuff, Richard. Things I never knew.
