you can almost feel the heat and smell the smoke and brandy. As always, a wonderful collection of little details in the background establish a setting of time and place. Well done.

I don't know how you manage to pack so much into such small spaces, but you must be a pro at getting the camera into tight corners for setup! I love the hazy atmosphere in this one, which definitely contributes to the air of contented listening, though it looks from their expressions like the pianist might be playing something melancholic? The cat looks ready to help turn the page, possibly before the pianist is ready :-)
