I'm just Molly. Mrs. Mike was my ID for many years when I modeled for my deviant husband, Mike B. It was Mike that introduced me to Poser.
I have modeled in real life a bit. My introduction to 3d imaging was through making pictures of my adventures in Second Life and over the10 years I've been learning Poser and making Poser pictures. In real life, I am a near completely retired health care professional and a full time grandma. In my digital life I am a Second Life heroine, a Second Life villainess and here and at Deviant Art I'm a budding 3D artist.
My next big project is to learn Blender.

Yay, Cat Girl is freed! Love her pose and expression, which convey both "holy crap that worked" and "maybe we should split while we can"! The lighting is amazing, the best of the set so far, I think. It really shows off Jori well. And yes OF COURSE you should do more, if you have more scenes in mind with these two! Have they perhaps ever been successful at stealing shiny stuff, or do other foes thwart them every time? Also, just curious: I'm not familiar with what adding glow does in Photoshop. Do you mean glow around the lights or something else?

First of all, thanks for the lovely comment. I will do at least one more in this series but I think I'm not done with these characters.
The lighting improvement is due to Jorl moving the torch to his left hand, putting it slightly between him and the camera taking him out of the shadow... the problem with using realistic incidental lighting. >.<
Glow is the little halo around lights and highlights on objects that is an artifact seen in photographs made in extreme lighting conditions. I've sent you bit of information about per sitemail. I use it very sparingly and it is most notable here around the torch light and the blaze in the Iron Golem.
As always, I appreciate hearing from you. I always look forward to your comments and what you share of your own work. =)

I'm so glad she got away! Her expression is perfect! Lighting is excellent too.

Thank you, Annie! You can see in my above comment to Amy about the vagaries of using incidental real light sources in a scene and how it worked out pretty well in this image. XD
I had a lot of fun with her expression and am pleased it amused you! =)

I'm with perpetualrevision front to back. Definitely finish the set and don't let the two chitty-chat too long. When ya gotta shoot, shoot. Don't talk. Run might be an option also, though I wonder if Widowmaker will intervene and split the goods?
MollyFootman
Heh. The Widowmaker is in a different era and place within the Mollyverse, I think. As for these two? "Feets don't fail me now!"
Thanks for your comment, JD. I always look forward to hearing from you! =)

MollyFootman
Heh. Thank you! I think the Kitty's situation is improving and if they beat feet she'll be fine! XD

Yeah, this is probably a really good time to make a quick exit! That fellow is not going to be a happy camper once he extracts that torch....
This is great, Molly! - Excellent lighting... Yes, more please!
MollyFootman
I'm sure Jorl agrees it's time to split! XD
Thanks for leaving me a comment to make me smile. I always enjoy hearing from you, my dear.

The cat's out the bag...time to make quick exit..!!...exceptionally well done lighting.. really brings out all the previously hidden details of both character...first class work molly...your on a roll...!!
MollyFootman
Oooh! Thank you for such lovely encouragement, my dear.
The lighting is better because it's provide solely by incidental light sources within the image and the one source, Jorl's torch, was moved to his left hand which puts it in a better position to light things with respect to the camera. The challenges of using only incidental lighting.... >.<
I have at least one more picture in this series but I think I'll be returning to this odd couple from time to time. XD

another excellent scene in this series, Molly, love the lighting and PoV and to be honest, you could easily make this into a delightful children's book. Having 4 grandkids I sometimes despair when it comes to finding a decent book for them, not so bad once they are older as tastes widen, but there are few good books out there with nice illustrations :)
MollyFootman
Wow! That's lovely praise for the image (and series) and a perspective that hadn't occurred to me. I, too, have 4 grandchildren (eldest is 8 yo) and I believe I'll share these with them for feedback. I'll have to be strong, though; they aren't shy about sharing a less than glowing opiinion! XD
