It had been an exciting week for the Princess Ariana. Her sixteenth birthday had been on Monday and that very evening, she had been kidnapped by a ferocious (albeit beautiful golden) dragon. After two days of being utterly terrified and without a change of clothes or even a hair brush available, she had been rescued by a handsome knight. After a most horrific fight that lasted at least two days by her reckoning (of course, she'd never been good at judging time which was why she was always late for everything), her knight in shining armor had won the day and carried her off on his noble steed. They rode for a very long time and finally reached the knight's campsite where he had erected two large tents, one for each of them. Upon entering her tent, Ariana found a comfortable pallet of cushions and wonder of wonders, some new dresses, warm water and soap, and her hairbrush. She quickly washed up, changed into a beautiful blue dress heavy with embroidery, fixed her hair, and went in search of her rescuer. Looking through the trees, she could see his charger quietly eating from a bucket and nearby sat her quarry. Ariana sauntered slowly towards him, giving him plenty of time to notice and admire her, but he didn't seem to even notice her at all! The audacity, she thought. She got closer to him and just as she was about to call out to him, she noticed that he was quite intent on what he was doing.
