Description
Upon hearing the news that his sister had finally produced her magnum opus, Nunatak stopped by to congratulate her. And as he browsed her bookshelves, he came across an old scroll that just may provide the key to his own big discovery!
==AMY’S NOTES==
Now I have finally shown all angles of the Opus Magnum room, although there are still so many more ways to use this set! But next up, Utla and her companions will head to the marketplace, because I want to put some of Faveral’s medieval village and docks sets to use too :-)
Rendered in March 2022 using Firefly in Poser Pro 11 for Mac at 3200 × 1800 pixels. View full size on my blog.

Fantastic yet again! I love all the images you have created with this set.

Thank you :-) I've loved making all those images! This prop set really is a pleasure to work with. I've had to adjust the lighting settings for each scene, of course, but otherwise everything just looks good w/o a lot of fiddling! Even those candle textures aren't done with SSS but with the way Faveral made the maps for it, which was very cleverly done. I did have to tone down the reflectivity of the mirror, though, to hide an artifact of one of my lighting tricks :-)

Great scene and story line as always. I must say I am struck at how well your firefly renders come out of the oven, Your skills are next level, congrats and nice use of sets and characters!

Thank you so much! Before I ever created a scene for the gallery, I spent a few years learning about Poser (and 3D art and modeling in general), and I spent a lot of time in the "school of Firefly," which is to say, I studied everything I could find by BagginsBill, D3D, ArtBee, and others, mostly about materials and lighting. Then Superfly came along and changed everything, but it doesn't run well on my computer (for various reasons), and I kinda dig the effects I can get with Firefly, so I'll be sticking with it for a while yet. But holy cow, your Superfly renders are so impressive!! If my fantasy characters ever want to go to the future, they may ask for your help with lighting :-)

I've really enjoyed the whole series, Amy. It's a great set and you've used it so well here. That mirror is great!

it's so cool to see folks just having FUN with Poser!!

That I am :-) Honestly, though, playing around in Poser wouldn't be nearly as much fun without Nursoda's amazing characters! I may not use them in every scene, but those characters (and 1971s structures) are at the heart of what makes this so fun for me!

Wonderful looking scene! Great job!

Your new graphic looks great (especially the use of Nursodas Nunatak, she suits very well your storys) and I like it very much. I wish you already a nice weekend.

She looks super cheery. Wonderful setting and details

Thanks! Nunatak is supposed to be a boy (and hence, Utla's brother), but I don't think he'd mind being referred to as "she," as he's a generally cheery and good natured fellow :-)

Those scrolls may hold a wealth of wonderful things! I hope that the one Nunatak found will be exactly what he needs!
