Shangar Sin, the beautiful flame-haired warrior of the Ancient Ones stood next to Abur Mann, the bearded and powerful champion of the Ancient guard. A wooden chest with a black flag draped over it sat on he raft in front of them. "How long are we expected to wait?" Shangar Sin said with a frown. Shangar should have been freezing in the scantly clad outfit of spikes, metal and tiny cloth she wore, but the cosmic power running through her ancient veins kept her warm at all times. "These pirates show great disrespect by being late for our rendezvous!" Abur Mann grunted and spat into the ocean. "How dare Savant Tas make us servants for these mortals. The great cosmic warriors of the Ancient Ones reduced to being delivery people!" Abur Mann yelled as he flexed his powerful muscles and pointed at the wooden chest at his feet. "How many Ancient Ones died to make the Ownership Cubes in that chest? What do we get for the sacrifice of our power and weakened states? Outsourcing the power of slavery to human pirates! Letting humans enslave humans and we do the delivery work!" "There is simply not enough of us left to rule and enslave all humanity." Shangar answered. "We have to outsource the power and enslavement. These Pirates will do anything for money, except show up on time!" "Why must we share the power?" Abur answered, his black cape flowing behind him. "Why not take the cubes? We could become the leaders of a whole slavery guild! A sinister syndicate of slavery, with these disposable humans as our workers and henchman!" The scantily clad Shangar turned, her face astonished! "That would be treason! Savante Tas is as powerful as ever! She and the others would hunt us down!" "She hasn't found Garen Yar! And he came down to help the humans! Our people are too weak now to care! Shangar, together we could form our own army and create a whole system of slavery and vice! These humans have just begun to explore the stars! Think of it...a whole universe to plunder and enslave!." Abur said. Shangar laughed and pointed to the wooden chest. "With that chest? There can't be more than a hundred cubes in it!" Shangar said. "No! It is a tesseract inside! A dimension of it's own, bigger inside than out!" Abur answered. "There are thousands and thousands of cubes inside. It cost my beloved Antar Noll her life to make one of those wretched things! Let us take them and rule!" Shanger flipper her red-hued bangs from her eyes and peered out at the misty ocean horizon. "Look! There! I see the Pirates of the Northern Strait's tall ship on the horizon!" Shangar said. "Look at the sails and the mast! The ships beautiful! What if we did make it our own? Why should we degenerate ourselves by giving the power away to these thieves?" "Well? Will you join me? We can work in secret over many years, slowly building our slave and vice trade. We could live handsomely well with the humans to serve and fight for us, instead of being weakened and bored in service to Savante Tas!" Abur asked, his hand out in an inviting gesture. Shangar Sin reached out and took his hand. "Yes, I will join you! Let us master these pirates and make this world our own." Shanger said with a sinister smile. "We will work slowly and in secret.
