Description

It was a legendary love, until it wasn’t… ==AMY’S NOTES== This isn’t where I thought I was going when I dusted off Koshini (from around 2003?) and dressed her in this outfit, but this is where I went! Rendered in March 2022 using Firefly in Poser Pro 11 for Mac at 3200 × 1800 pixels. View full size on my blog. ==CREDITS== SCENE: Castle Corridor Construction Kit by 3-d-c. CHARACTER: Koshini toon figure and Legendary Love outfit and hair by Lady Littlefox.

Nice scene and lighting. You are so true, you maybe just playing around and before you know it the scene is telling you where to go. The art becomes the director.

Lovely scene and character and with out a doubt a beautiful outfit..it's quite an achievement when you can convey to loss and emptiness from a lost love within a image... like you have done here.... top work and a pleasure to view.....

Thank you so much for the comment, Darkglass! There's something rather depressing about making a toon figure look sad, but I'm glad I succeeded in doing that with poor Koshini! I'll probably use her again, but in a more toony type scene :-)

Rather depressing...yes..but still quite an achievement ...so will be interested in seeing you portray her in a completely different set of circumstances in the future....

Wonderful scene. Love the view of the long hallways and her expression.

Thanks for the comment! I hated making Koshini look sad, but it just kinda worked with the outfit and the scene. I'm working on a happier scene for her now, in an outfit with a slightly less "over the top" name :-)

She looks so sad, I feel so bad. Great job setting the mood

I know! I don't usually do sad or moody scenes, but I guess it doesn't surprise me that I'd go there with a toon figure :-) Happier days are coming soon for Koshini! Thanks for the comment.

Wow! I would not have thought a toon could so successfully convey a sense of sadness. The long hall behind her is inspired, I think. It really amplifies her sense of isolation. Sometime a vacant space conveys so much. Really effectively composed, posed and rendered! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much for the comment, Molly! I was kinda surprised at her sad expression too, but once I realized her face could go there, the rest followed :-) The rather overblown name of her outfit also contributed to my sense of "this probably ended badly for her"!

I am amazed by what you have done here! You have really made Koshini look heartbroken! Everything works so well to achieve that effect!

Thanks for the comment! I was just playing with Koshini's facial features when I managed to make her look sad, and then the rest of the scene fell into place! But oh how sad to see an unhappy toon face :-( She'll be happier soon, if I can ever find the right backdrop for her in another one of her fancy outfits!

Very nice! Good expression. Nice light and shadow. And I like the perspective on your hallway.

Thanks for the comment! I like how the light and shadow came out too, as well as the long hallway. The expression was a bit of a surprise; who knew toons could do sad?!

You have some beautiful gowns for this little lady. Haven’t seen her in a while. She is looking good! 😻

Thanks so much, dragongirl! Koshini's pretty ancient as Poser figures go, but she has some life in her yet (and more beautiful gowns to wear)! Heck, Kit's nearly as old and I just bought her last week (to use with some adorable fae characters I recently came across).
