Description

Because the "Orange Tabby" for the Hivewire3D housecat was on sale, and I still had some spaceship interiors on my desktop for Summoner's "Interceptor-X3." The creature is Summoner's "Alien-Hybrid." Figures in Poser, rendered in Vue.

In Alan Dean Foster's novelization of the 1979 film, he describe a scene with the xenomorph examining Jones inside his carrier. It studies the cat with apprehension, almost as though the alien is genuinely afraid! Hmm... That's what humans should have done, genetically "uplift" felines to sapience (and opposable thumbs to properly hold weapons) and direct them at the monsters! One major downside, "herding" cats is nigh impossible and I doubt cats given human intelligence would make it any easier! ;-)

Yeah, I probably read that at the time. I do remember such a scene in the movie, but I would say the alien showed curiosity not fear.
