Wanted to capture the vibe of the older subway cars in my hometown. The train car is actually a Daz Studio prop. Had trouble with the camera angle inside in the car since I couldn't hide individual parts. Nowadays most of the seating in the cars faces the isle. My last three focused on some of my newer preteen characters. So, I decided to go into teens with this image. Here we have Odessa, Rudee, Katria and Rebecca riding the subway after a long day. I even threw in DJ Rochelle in the background. The graffiti on Odessa's seat and by the window were done in Photoshop.

Thanks, CoolDimesion a lot of it just memories from when I was still in my teens. Combined with riding the train regularly to and from work today.

Nicely done! I agree that the poses are so natural looking, and the light is great. The metal on the poles looks fantastic! That's how I knew you must've used Superfly, before I saw your credits! I love that some of them look happy and social, some are absorbed in their phones, and some are bored. Just like on subway cars everywhere!

Thank you so much peretualrevision. I got lucky with the lighting. I tried a few of light setting combined with the light of the car really helped the render. Some things are just universal with urban subways and their passengers. Years of riding the subway gave me plenty of inspiration for the poses.

As I've mentioned elsewhere I love all the detail (grubby as it: dropped wrappers, spilled coffee) that gives such a sense of place and "real". The interaction of the characters looks very credible! Overall, really effective at conveying their interaction and the place in which they live.
