Description

Chomper sent them down - says that with the new anti-tank weapons these things are just death traps - one direct hit and the tank's in flames and the crew dead. Not like the old days when the tanks ruled the battlefield, eh! Not sure how much longer the planes will rule the sky, either - what with anti-aircraft missiles the modern fighter is more of a Kamikaze vehicle. So it'll be back to swords and shields for humans, or all-robot soldiers. Might even bring an end to war, eh! Chomper? He had to settle for scrap value only - wasn't pleased - but we reckon he got them for nothing in the first place!

Heh. I love both of your bots and the message here regarding current warfare is well taken. As machine guns made infantry charges a really bad idea, now rolling around in metal boxes seems a less than optimal method of warfare. Thanks for sharing and giving me a giggle, my dear! =)

Chomper should've used the scrap metal to build more vehicles for his travel agency, which only serves the purposes of peace, I'm sure :-) If warfare ever did revert to swords and shields, maybe we'd finally see the horror and ridiculousness of it.
