Description

In the forest across our street are quite steep hills. This is the only asphalted road, which, however, is closed to traffic. Years ago, when traffic was still allowed through it, it happened that my car, at the very bottom of this road, no longer wanted to continue. I had four children in the back of the car, and there were several cars just behind me. All children waved to motorists that they had to go down. I now thought of this event. It was a very old Simca, whose windshield wipers didn't do it, and the direction indicators no longer functioned. So one of the children had to do an arm out of the window when I had to take a corner. ;-) Thank you very much for your look, dear friends.

Another gorgeous photo that has to be seen full size! I love the detail---it's almost softened by light, like a fantasy forest. And the path cuts into the image beautifully. And you got a lot of light in the background branches. Love the detail on the leaves and on all that moss. This is beautiful, Jacomina. I love your memory too (of being in the car with the children, etc, and one of the children pointing for the other drivers). A wonderful photo of the place. Your photo's magical.
