Set in 1970, The Unremarkable is a quasi-superhero fantasy novel slated to be published in late 2022 or early 2023. The narrator/protagonist is Gordon Gray, who is as dull as his name. He is plain looking, and as he puts it, unremarkable in every respect. He even works for an accountant named Mr Green; his job is to do the tasks that even an accountant would find too tedious and boring to do himself. Such is Gordon's life, and he is actually satisfied with it. But everything starts to go sideways when he meets a mysterious young woman who simply calls herself "Astoria." - - - - - CREDITS Character development by me. (Yes, I'm aware of the few strands of hair colliding with the hat. These characters will only be used in book covers and promos, so details like that will be postworked as necessary.)
