Cont'd.... In the end, Milly chose her own path. To seek salvation for the poor lost souls. It was a path never before traversed by heavenly beings. Seeking solace in her own brand of justice. The Elders' judgements were swift. She was stripped of everything; powers, titles. She was humiliated and banished from the heavens. Her wings were singed and cursed; she would never know the joy of flight again. It was said the heavens shook with her howls of sorrow and injustice the night she was cast down to earth. But little did they know that it was a cry of defiance. The wraiths sensed her loss and valued her divine sacrifice. They welcomed her into their fold, swore fealty to her in a war that was destined to fail.
