Description

As noted in the previous image, Gordon Gray is the narrator/protagonist in a forthcoming novel called The Unremarkable. His self-perception is that he is ugly in a very dull sort of way, which suits his inclinations — he is very nearly dull by choice. This is actually version 4 of Gordon for me, but second version posted here. I wasn't satisfied with a couple things regarding the state of Gordon's development in the previous image. Particularly his eyes and mouth, and I've tweaked a bunch of other stuff as well. Also added some hair in the hair room, but postworked in Photoshop (and then added an image filter to the whole).

In this version he actually looks a bit more interesting :-) But that could be useful: to aim for dull and ordinary (b/c it suits his purposes, I'm guessing), but in an interesting way!

I like this character. He reminds me some someone in a movie from the fifties though he doesn't remind me of anyone specific.

RedPhantom, this story is set in 1970, but the intention is a very retro feel, so maybe I've succeeded on that front.
