The pier shots are so quiet and peaceful, with beautiful long lines in the background. I love that the husband is on its way---shown in shot 2---and lands in shots 3 and 4. In the last shot, we even see their reflections in the water. Delightful sequence, and I'm glad it was a tender greeting (as you say). They look like a happy couple!
