"You might say I'm a dreamer"
I have loved photography since I was a child and also love graphic art (I am the kind of person that WILL buy a book or CD for its cover) but sadly I only became aware of 3D art after crossing paths with Dragonluna. I immediately fell in love with her work and after a while decided to give it try, mostly because I wanted to make pics to go along with a fanfic I was writing. I am neither a writer nor a 3D artist, I just like to daydream and have ideas and fantasies, and I love anything that has to do with visual art. I am still very limited with the program and have loads to learn and I am also quite fearful of posting my pics considering the high quality of the renders on this site, but I guess we all have to start somewhere and this is where I start, sharing my fantasies with you. Thank you for the taking the time to look at my work. :)

beautiful!

Thank you!

Really nice! It shows that you can get wonderful movement from conforming clothing if some attention has been paid to movement morphs (great job by DivabugDesigns). Of course, it takes an artist to put that content on a mesh and pose the mesh and give it an expression that says, "I'm alive!". You've done that so well here. I love the confident, ecstatic, "in the moment" look on her face. She really seems to be enjoying herself! =)
Thank you for sharing, Ruby! <3

Thank you Molly! Actually I converted the skirt into a dynamic one and ran it through the cloth room in both images, and in Iolanda's case I had to do it for the top too as I couldn't get it to conform to her plumpness (I should have probably mentioned that in the description). I also had to remove the straps because they came out really wonky when I ran the simulation on the top, and they actually became detached, so I made them invisible in this one. As for Iolanda I dialed down the body morph to 0.800 (just because I was already pushing it with the clothing, although I think they would have reacted well to the full body morph too. Maybe I will try next time.) This was my first time using conforming clothing in the cloth room, I figured if I can do it for the Genesis stuff I am converting then why not this too? It allowed me to use the top on Iolanda whereas if it were conforming I wouldn't have been able to (for some reason the "copy morphs" did not do the trick this time). And I had fun both posing her and giving her the "in the groove" expression, I'm glad it worked out! :D

This is so much fun! Also love the bokeh on the background~~

Thank you, so glad you like it! Iolanda is a fun character to work with, and her skin textures are just beautiful! And thanks again for Lara, it was a pleasure being able to use her!

She is definitely feelin' the groove! Love her expression and pose, and the way you've lit her skin really shows off how beautiful it is. Having the top be "strapless" works well (she's got enough to keep it up!) And the twirling skirt came out great! I love it when conforming skirts stop with a hip actor (i.e., no thigh actors) so that it's easy to "clothify" them as needed! Sometimes a skirt's built-in posing options work OK for a particular pose, but for something like this, dynamics are definitely the way to go :-)

Oh my! You just made me realize just how lucky I was with the skirt, I have no idea what you mean about the hip and thigh actors lol (but it is definitely something I will write down and look into now). I tell you, a lot of what I do in Poser is trial and error, and in this case it worked in my favor. As for the top and the straps, I did have some doubts about it staying up, but then I thought like you did that it would stay up thanks to the boobage (and also because in the 3D world tops do not fall off when you move around too much hahaha!). Kinda like heels never hurting :D Her skin is amazing, beautiful textures that render so well. Thanks for stopping by Amy and for your feedback!

Wow that song brings back some memories for this GenXer. And again you made a wonderful scene pop with her movement and expression. Before I read your title after seeing this, the song Mama loves Mambo came to mind. I really love the yellow compared to her complexion. Like Cold play "And it was all yellow..." Lay down that boggy, and get down tonight!
RubyTuesday70
Mama loves Mambo would also have been a great song! I'm glad you like it, I wanted to use those textures and I knew they were just right for her. And would you believe it if I told you that when i decided to use those textures and that background I was going to use the song "Yellow" to go along with it? Not kidding. But Iolanda decided differently, she was in the move to shake her groove thing lol! Thank you for stopping by, really appreciate it!

Great looking character the the Marilyn Monroe wind blown skirt pose for added attraction! Most excellent work!
RubyTuesday70
Thank you, much appreciated!!!
gaius
Reminds me of another song titled "Yolanda" ??? This is superb.
RubyTuesday70
Thank you gaius! I did a quick search and found his, I don't know if it is the song you were referring too but this one definitely fits the mood and scene. And since Iolanda won't stop dancing I think I will necessarily have to find another model, lol!

Lovely image! Her expression seems fascinated by the music.
RubyTuesday70
Thank you so much! I was hoping her expression would show just how into the music she is!
